A card called defrost, which obviosly defrost creatures.

Also a fire creature with 1/1 with the ability defrost, costing 3-4 fire quantums.

Or just making it so each fire crearure stays frozen for one less turn than others.

Next, a spell which increase fire creatures attacks by 4 (only one creature)

And a ablaze field card, which raises each fire cretures attack by 2-3 but lowers their health by one each turn.

I think this kind of defrost card would be too situational. There are not that many Freeze cards out there so this Defrost card would be a dead card most of the time.

I like the idea for th ability, but a single spell doing that is really underpowered.  Perhaps an untargetable creature that can be sacrificed to unfreeze all creatures on the board?

Honestly, who cares if it underpowered? Ever TCG has underpowered cards, its a part of life. I like the card and think it should be added. I'd rather have it under powered than overpowered. Sheesh

A spell would be a bit underpowered, now to adress the few other ideas i gave, including a creature with a defrost ability, which makes it not underpowered.

I don't think that Defrost would be underpowered if it defrosted all creatures you controlled. With the number of cards that can freeze (the Permafrost Shield, Ice Lance, Congeal, Arctic Squid, and Chaos Seed), I would see how it would be useful, although situational. I think it would have more of a use than Purify, at least.

Are you serious? We should knowingly add an underpowered card because we "like it"?

Actually, yes. o-o Adding some underpowered cards would not only provide some more variety in ways similar to other TCGs that have useless cards (Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh are famous for this). Just look at Spark/Ball Lightning.

That makes zero sense to me. If a card sucks, nobody is going to use it. How does that provide more variety?

Just look at the popular decks we have today. Most of them use the same cards and none of them use the underpowered ones.

underpowered cards come in every game, even elements. It DO HAVE some useless card: what about cheap creatures? Almost every cheap creature without an ability is useless in this game, and even some dragons find hardly a good use. The strange thing is that there are people asking for useless cards in the card request area :D

And now you don't have any creatures to play anyways.

A spell would only free one creature for one turn- you still wouldn't be able to target his burrowed freezing creature even if you unfroze an otyugh.
