Your quantum series' stated goal is "adding function to monotype decks and reliabilty to Rainbow type decks."

Syzygy seems to favor a rainbow deck. However I do not see it increasing the reliability of a rainbow deck to gain the diverse spread of quantum because it exaggerates already large pools.

As to the balance of the card, it seems to multiple the current advantage/disadvantage of the user. I do not know if this was its intent but I think most multipliers should be better when the user is at a disadvantage. (But I like defensive styles so that is probably just my bias speaking) So this card in game would span from dead draw to balanced to overpowered ensuring victory plays.

As to the complexity, I personally like the level of complexity of the quantum mechanics series. Most Elements players will overestimate the complexity of the cards because they are affecting quanta in ways that stem from old cards but in ways not expected because they are beneficial effects instead of the older offensive effects like Pest and Black Hole.

I'm raging at my x64 Win7 machine at the moment because its killed my Excel.

Syzygy plays in the mid game as long as Aether is a strong pool. When I get Excel going again I'll post some math. Look at it as a quanta gaining card that you use in aether in about turn 4 to get that 4-5 extra quanta per element becuase you are playing a 4 element Aether deck.

Thats a good view thanks for the support. I'm going to start using the word Technical over complex I think its a better way to describe things that work in a non-linear manner.

I usually use "gym" for the no vowels. Syzygy is much better ><

Also, i don' find the description of the card complicated at all. I suppose i'm not a kid, and many younger kids may find it a little hard to understand; but, i am 18 and its not like you have to possess a doctorate to understand these card descriptions. I've just been looking through some of your ideas, Kael, and i have to say i am EXTREMELY impressed. Though some of these may be somewhat complex, they are huge equalizers and show tremendous thought. Its tough to fine tune 44 cards so quickly, but i love the ideas. Keep them coming!
