I think technically gold would be time, yes? Golden hourglass, gold nymph, the yellow hue of the cards.

Some are weak and close to situational/useless, others are so strong they make me smile.  They seem only useful in a mono/duo, but then again, enough quantum pillars and you could have any work, if lucky.  Interesting.... Good ideas!

I think naming familiars after ancient gods and/or spirits is not that good of an idea, especially since you suppose to impersonate a "simple" elemental in the game (though this already fails somewhat when you summon an Elite Anubis.. duh). But the idea of familiars is great however.

Congrats for the competition win, btw.

It'd be lovely to bring Fluffy the floating eye with me to every single game against the AI.

I like the cards but why is "Byakko" water aligned? AFAIK he has always been Wood (life) or Lightning (air/aether) before.
I started to look for proper names as it made more sense to me and besides, Cat Familiar is kinda uncool. These names of course should be based on something "real" (or at least some myth or literature). Of course, names of mythological armadillos, tigers and whatnot are pretty difficult to find. :/ I'm open to suggestions!

Care to explain it further?

as i stated in the competition thread, i like the concept of familiars. but gaining 3+ of a particular quanta type is rather trivial and basically will be perpetual (while the familiar is in play), it may as well be based on your mark.  also many of the cards themselves are somewhat redundant with cards already in the game, :light for example is just a gimp sanctuary.
No. Gaining 3 quanta of a certain element requires, in order to be activated every turn, to play a mono (or mostly mono) deck. Pendulum-based decks will activate it every other turn, Immo and Nova based decks will activate it rarely more than once or twice a game (considering you need to play it) and quantum pillar heavy decks are not really competitive in PvP, usually, as Novas are the superior option.

That condition actually cuts in half or less the usefulness of Familiars in a major part of the current metagame, thus enhancing mono or mono-like decks and pillar-based decks (something you don't see that often anymore).

Also, as I mentioned some of the familiars need a rework. The only ones I really thought through and through are :light and :water. As for Nergal being a gimp sanctuary... on the contrary. It's the Discord / Denial counter that Sanctuary was supposed to be and never was. Its incredibly low price allows you to play it faster than Discord and that alone makes it very different from Sanctuary. Besides, it doesn't heal - which is Sanctuary's main purpose now.

Quick rambling about the cards....

Nergal.. UP, since Sanctuary costs around 3  :light and heals meh :D
Bastet? Seems too complicated to use, since it requires a good number of combo to work...
Byakko seems just okay.. But it can be OP, since disabling a weapon can destroy the whole strategy IMO...
Aegis, does it works for GP'd creatures? If yes, it could really work wit Armagios IMO...
Vanara, can be OP with Fractalz and things like that, but I really like the buff for mono- :life :)
Nevermore is a bit UP, since the real Cloak costs 4/3
Ryu.. Eh? Just more damage? Not really interesting..
Apep, situational but strong if doing it's work. Nice poison-counter man!
Ogun.. I wish the max HP is upgraded by Zanz...
Garuda, WHAT PEWPLE REALLY NEED, soft PC for  :air! Yay!
Eris, no combo with anything IMO, so it's heavily UP
Sahabat is a okay, but I suggest creature aiming too?

Random fact: Sahabat means friend in Indonesian, mah language :D Garuda is our national emblem too, AWESOME!

I really like the others (though "Ryu" does seem a little uninspired as a name) but I don't really even get how water is a tiger. Surely a kraken would be far more fitting, both for the element and the ability. I still can't think of names though.

Eris combos with the upped entropy shield.
Is DissField good enough ATM? I don't really think so... 1 quanta per 1 damage point is UP, and adding 1 quanta doesn't really help IMO....

Yeah, Ryu's artwork is the most patchy work, even handmade drawings is better... I know, the other's art is going to be changed too, but Ryu is the first that needs help

Poor Pseudodragon. :(
Also, Eris combos well with mutants too, and can be deadly with DissField if you get it out for enough turns: it's one more quanta per turn each turn, so it's effectively granting you one more point of damage reduction every turn it is in play.
Also, works with quanta heavy rainbows (for instance the lulzy BoltBows would greatly benefit from it).

Indeed. Or three even, if it's a Quantum Pillar/Tower.
