[Essence]

Pssst...it's "planar", not "planer".  Other than that, and the thing you mentioned with Portal Pool, I like it.   I'm guessing if you already have 7 cards in your hand, it dies?  Or does it become the 8th card and then you don't get to draw?

If the Fiend dies and returns to Hand, does it generate a death trigger for Boneyards?
Why is the Fiend an Aether Creature?

Its aether because ints an extraplanar creature. He technicly doesn't die because he just shifts into another plane of existence, at a cost.

- Are you going to fix the Spelling?

- The 3 when its destroyed, is it a cost or side effect?

- Essence questioned the action if your Hand is full when the Fiend dies. What is to happen?

I would add: if you cannot pay the 3 aether, it shouldn't go back to your hand.
So new desc: When planar fiend dies it returns to your hand at the cost of 3 
I won't mind giving it one skeleton/bonewall, Phoenix does that too (for free).

I would suggest: death (and no cost) if it cannot go back to hand.
