If there was a range of cards that gave benefits to other groups of elements, say a card that benefited :light :water :air :aether :darkness or another that worked for :aether :darkness :time :light and others that did various other groups then surely this idea would be ok?
I think that if you create cards that mix the elements more it would be just fine, even if there're still division it would be much less than right now.

but then at that point it would generate 6 quantums for no cost if you didn't use the other elements. its just too much quantum for too little cost if played right
Debateable. Can you give me a deck that could break this card? I'll do a statisitcal projection on it and we'll see how fast it is. I'd rather move the deployment cost than the effect tho otherwise you lose the consistancy of production.

I have a range of 12 artifact cards designed to work in element style to create different groups and balances. The two I listed above are Weather Control and Celestial Heavens. After I have gone through all the ideas in my catalog, let me know if there is a combination that you think needs its own coverage and add it to the brainstorming session.

easy access to quantums, could build a mutation deck with firefly queen and fallen druid and have no need for novas or quantum towers to generate that life quantum and would have 50% chance to be able to use the mutated creatures abilities

pure life deck with no need to include things for rustlers or forest spirits

but if the cost was like 4/3 I suppose it would be more balanced, and it could be stolen easily (except for the fact that it stacks so you could PA it)

its a good idea don't get me wrong, it just seems overpowered

It is intended that a card like this would make dual or trio element decks more playable as in the example you had shown with FFQ/Mutations being able to run without the need to play rainbow. Does this card make that deck type Super Powered tho. My testing of that deck type suggests no. Do you have results that suggest yes? if so does the 4/3 costing fix that?

Personally not too keen on the West and East totems.

Reasoning? Hard for me to fix something when I don't know why.

Well, so I'll think about that after you show all the cards. If you really combine the elements in other ways it would be good ^^
But I think that your could keep this cards to four elements together or five~six with some restrictions.

I like the art but it doesn't fit the card.

Whether you are going for Roman or Greek mythology, Neptune/Poseidon are the only gods depicted with the Trident--it is their identifying symbol.  The goddess of the Dawn was Aurora/Eos, the god of the East Wind was Euros, the sun-god was Helios (and later Apollo)--but none of them held a Trident.

Please pick a different image or change the name to fit the image.

Its the only stock image I could find to edit. It is lit by the morning sun. Fits the elements Water (Poseidon/Trident in the game), Air (Sky), Aether (Clean Sky), Light (Sunlit Front).

If you can find a better stock image of a morning/dawn sunlit sculpture or figure post it here. I only use royalty free images tho. Definitely needs the morning sun tho. Any other of the 6 eastern elements you can catch in it is a bonus.

The link is to an image of Eos and satisfies most of your requirements: ocean (water), birds flying (air), clean sky.  And since she's the actual goddess of Dawn, that should cover the sunlit/morning sun bit (light).

You could also use the simple trick of transforming the original image to vector graphics to give it that "art look".
