Too excessively complex. Take out the return to your hand clause, and you have a relatively bad version of Escalation by OdinVanguard.
Yes and no... Escalation has some significant diffrences.
-It is a spell (tricky to counter directly aside from sanctuary)
-It has a

cost
-It only spawns copies when played, so players must choose to continue the escalation.
I think that this card is actually a bit more powerful than Escalation (probably OP right now).
-It has a hybrid cost, so the chance that opponent can rid themselves of it without damage is lower
-Once played it can continually spawn into the opponent's hand.
-It is a creature, making it somewhat vulnerable to CC counters.
-It could be abused with fractal or mito + readiness, making a quick, continual draw lock.
I think the double spawn to opponent's hand is unnecessary in this case. It was necessary for escalation because a spell is consumed when played, so that was the only way to get more copies and provide a ramp up. Since this card actually creates new copies of itself, the double copy is not needed. Considering that there are already other ways to copy a creature, I think adding 2 copies to the enemy hand will be too powerful as a hand blocker.
For instance, consider the problem with fractal. This + fractal is practically GG. The opponent will never unclog their hand. Especially since they only have about a 1 in 6 chance of having the needed quanta to cast it.
I like the concept here, but its a little too easy to abuse with creature replication. Fractal in particular. It just makes hard locking the opponent's draw capabilities a little too easy.
P.S. I put up a grav-time card back idea in the hybrid thread, if you can think of something to use it for... Let me know if you have another hybrid idea that needs a card back made.
