... Isn't simply playing a SoFre much, much better, since you're using Air anyways?

Although some people may find crafty was of using this card I find that most people would find that its effect is quite minimal being a small percentage. Would allowing to make its effect stack-able be reasonable? If 4 Escapes were given it would act like a immaterial creature. Also would it work against cards such as fire-shield where immaterial wouldn't.

As to avoiding fire shield, this card would have no effect. The SoFree gives the ability 'ignore shields and evade targeting if  :air' while this card only gives the buffed creature the ability to evade targeting.
