"Inspiration will come today, but don't hold your breathe"

"Today you will gain a follower who wields considerable power. But beware! All power comes at a cost."

The extra damage is added in the same manner as with type "other" weapons such as dagger or bow.
After some testing in the trainer I found that this means:
1) It does NOT affect the number of extra attacks given by adrenaline
2) It does NOT get doubled by Sky-Blitz
3) It DOES get amplified by shard of freedom

This is sufficiently distinct from dive and sky-blitz that it should make the card unique.

Only damage that gets applied to allies will increase attack.
I.e. if the Champion's ability kills a 1 HP ally, it only gets +1 attack damage from it.

I aimed low on this creatures stats on purpose, I am waiting for some feedback on balance before adjusting it.

Interesting. It's a balanced version of the health -> attack mechanic.

Seems like a good way to add burst damage to the game.

I believe the correct wording would be "... to this creature's attack this turn", sounds right to me. Unless this is for some wording technicality.

Definitely original and definitely good. The name could use some work but hey, it doesn't really matter. Easily splash able with a darkness mark, but air creatures aren't known for their high HP unfortunately.

The images are wonderful, however I would decrease both HPs. Its starter form should resemble Vulture|Condor-like stats(with a +2|3 attack modifier). Not because it's related in any way, just because I feel that it would be more fair.

You're right. I'm missing an apostrophe at the least. :( Good catch.

Once I can figure out what to do for stats, I'll update the wording at the same time.

Glad you like the images. The wings spliced on surprisingly well. I wasn't sure if I could get them to at first.

As for stats, I think dropping the stats a bit wouldn't be a bad idea.
I see where you are coming from about the vulture, although I'm not sure its fully applicable here.
This creature only gets a 1 turn bonus. Vulture, on the other hand, grows continually more powerful as time goes on, so it has to start out low.
Also, this creature costs more than vulture or condor. The upped version is twice as expensive, so that should count for something right?

At any rate, I have no problem dropping the attack power since that is what gets buffed, but The HP cant drop too low. I'm trying to have relatively beefy midrange hitter. Something that the rest of your army rallies around (albeit, at their own peril).
It would be nice if at least 1 or 2 other fellow knights could work together, although champion could be more of a singular warrior type.

I understand that low HP is characteristic of :air , but thats also part of what would help keep a card like this balanced in a mono i.e. it is tricky to include because it will wipe out the rest of your creatures since they won't have enough HP to withstand the abuse for very long.

In what kind of deck would you use this card? I can't think of any. Even if it's original, I still don't find any practical use. Even with Voodoos or a rush with dragons this would be unstable and slow.
Nice art btw.

How about making the ability activated automatically when it's summoned? This way it could be used only once, and would open possibilities. However, it would definitely need some stat modification.

Interesting idea... I still would like to keep the :darkness tie in somehow.
What if it were a 1 time activation (like werewolf) and continues to provide the additional damage for every attack after activation?

E.g. " :darkness : Errant - This creature deals 1 damage to all allies in its row and will add equal damage to its future attacks."

In what kind of deck would you use this card? I can't think of any. Even if it's original, I still don't find any practical use. Even with Voodoos or a rush with dragons this would be unstable and slow.
Nice art btw.
Would the above modification help?

Depending on the number of creatures in its row that get damaged, this creature would permanently gain up to +6 effective extra attack power.

Since it would be a 1 shot deal, it could be powered off of novas if needed.

This extra damage could be amplified by adrenaline (e.g.  a short-bow still gets 4 attacks when owner has air mark). So it may be good to keep its attack at or above 4 in both cases to limit abuse a little.

I honestly think that is should be :darkness :darkness for the effect because this can easily be Malignant Cell abused.
EDIT:
This would be a nice honest trio! Malignant Cell + Errant Cloud-Champion + Condor...
