Elements Demon TournamentThe Dragon Scepter is a powerful artifact that will grant great power to whomever attains it. Many elementals seek the Scepter - some for good, others for evil. * How to play *First choose one of the 8 available characters. Each character starts the battle with 100 HP, 100 EN (energy), a collection of
Basic Actions and a unique collection of
Attack Actions. Your
Basic- and Attack Actions together make up your action pool.
* Know your actions *Each action displays several important pieces of information. Name of action, damage caused, energy cost and range of action.
* Range *The
highlighted/red squares on the range chart display which squares on the grid will be affected by an action. The center square always indicates where the character is.
* Create combos to battle *A combo is set of any three actions chosen from your action pool. Create your combos in order to lower your opponent's HP to 0. Be careful, because you won't know what your opponent's combo will be! Once you've created a combo, your actions will be matched up against your opponent's in battle and then you'll both see the results. You will keep creating combos until one of you lose all HP.
- Attack actions cost energy, so if you attack more than once in a combo, be sure you that you have the energy for all your intended actions.
- You cannot use the same action more than once in a combo.
- After each combo, you both regain +15 EN.
- Basic Actions always take turn before Attack Actions.
- If you use an invalid action (move out of bounds, use an attack that you don't have the energy for, etc.) or you don't send in a full combo in time, you lose 5 HP per invalid actions (15 HP if no actions were sent in).
* Earn new actions *When you defeat an opponent you capture a Scepter part and earn a new mystery action. (Losing a game doesn't make you lose your gathered parts.)
* Gameplay *After all players chose their first characters, they will be matched up by the organizer based on their timezones. The players will then have their own battlefield map in the Forum Games - Matches board. Send in your combos to the organizer anytime you can, but preferably ASAP. The combomaking will continue until one player loses all HP. The winner will gather one part of the Dragon Scepter and a mystery action. Be careful, because tied players both lose!
Before the next battle, both the winner and the loser have the chance to change character. Be careful again, only those characters can use the mystery actions who actually won them, so e.g if you won one with Electric Gryphon, you can only use that one with Electric Gryphon and won't be able to use with other characters.

* Goal *Gather up all the parts of the Dragon Scepter by defeating opponents. If four parts are collected, you win!
* Rewards *For obtaining the Dragon Scepter, you win Master of Games points and maybe a forum icon if we get both a permission and a generous artist.
