Balanced modification in the spirit of SoBr that could use a reduction in cost: you can only play as many cards as you force your opponent to play. This wording is so that if your opponent has more cards they don't have to choose which to play, since a mechanic for your opponent targetting on your turn doesn't yet exist. The Fractal combo being discussed would now require Nightmare alongside it. I assume this card was already blocked by Sanctuary

Lots of potential with Neurotoxin. Thinking a PvP capable Day Traitors

That could actually work. I'm not sure how it would handle spell targeting, and it would probably sit better as an entropy card, but hey, entropy needs a last ditch card, too.

Any other thoughts?

Here's what I'm thinking:

Limit the card to creatures. Either let your opponent choose how many creatures to send out, or send out all of them. You then send out an equal amount, a la SoBr. That way, you don't have to fiddle with spells and such, but you are limited in what you can do by what your opponent does or has.
That said, nightmare/fractal? does it break it, or does the requirement of three separate quanta balance it out?
Also, what if your opponent has no creatures? is the card wasted? It would make Precognition more useful, in my opinion.

I could swear I've seen something similar to this proposed before, but I can't remember exactly where right now.

I do remember that cards which force / autoplay other cards have one big issue:
How do you resolve targetting?

I.e. If you force your opponent to play a firebolt, deflagrate, holy light,  etc. what does it end up targeting?

I like particleman's suggestion of limiting it to creatures. That would save you from having to deal with this issue and it still makes sense (I think it would probably warrant a :life element connection somehow).

Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
If your zombie plan is
kill -9 `ps l | awk '{print $2" "$3" "$9}' | grep "Z" | awk '{printf("%s ",$2)}'`

Updated the card.

Made the effect creatures only and added the SoBr-type card balance of "how many cards your opponent plays." Also added that sanctuary blocks this card. That was the original intent anyway, but I overlooked adding it to the details.

Thoughts?

Wording is a little odd, but I guess it gets the message across alright.
This is a tricky beast to balance since creature costs vary so widely. It is definetly meant for decks that pack lots of heavy hitters.
I think this card will shine strongest with fractal-nightmare combos though...
Nightmare very weak creatures to opponent and fractal a very large one for yourself, then use this.
