A time themed version of overdrive for weapons.

Each time your weapon deals damage, its next attack will deal the above listed additional damage.

If the weapon is stopped from attacking due to delay or freeze, or if its attack fails due to a shield preventing all damage (miss, block, absorb, etc). Then the damage bonus resets to zero.

The effect stacks. E.g. if you had two copies of aeon force in play, each successive attack would gain +4 damage.

Only your equipped weapon is affected by this. Flown weapons and crusaders will not benefit from it.

The effect also resets if the weapon is replaced, destroyed, stolen, flown, etc.

Sundials and Shard of Patience will also reset the effect. Even though they don't specifically stop weapons, this will help balance the mechanic. The same would go for any effect that stops all creatures on the owner's side from attacking.

Each of these permanents contributes and counts up individually. If one is destroyed or stolen, its contribution is lost.

I think it's a little undercosted. You have six of these and your weapon goes berserk. Also, does this stack the way pillars and shards do? This does not make much of a difference except for PA, as I assume this would be unaffected by EQ.

Without making calculations, I can say this will be most definitely OP.
Just imagine it with vagger and dusk shield- it'd be capable of taking on quite a few FG.
add (using nova) stuff like dials, salvagers, PA, explosion, cloak, ...

I'd either increase the cost by a lot,
or make this a spell that replaces the ability of your currently equiped weapon.

I'm assuming that the bonus attack does not stay when flown, similar to PA.
be quick- time is quanta.

Each of these is an individual permanent. If one is destroyed, its contribution to the weapon's damage would be lost.

They do not affect any flown weapons, only the weapon you have equipped.

Lastly, while your weapon could potentially ramp up damage very fast with several of these in play, it is also quite easily disrupted.
-I was basing this off a comparison with acceleration and overdrive which give a ramp up every turn and do not reset due to failed attack, delay, or freeze.

With the exception of titan, every weapon would be susceptible to shield counters. Even just 1 miss, freeze, or delay effect will reset the damage bonus to zero on all of these.

While a single counter doesn't help keep a card from being OP, there are a very significant number of counters available

For instance, fog and dusk shields would both ensure that you would only get 1 round of bonus from these on average.
Bonewall, phase shield, dissipation shield, wings, and procrastination shields would stop them dead in their tracks.
Ice shield would also be fairly effective.
And then there is also any form of PC which could be used to destroy the weapon. And, even if the weapon is immaterial, you could still destroy these cards to remove their effect. So PC works well as a counter.
Lastly, ice bolt and any of the voodoo doll freeze / delay combos would also do the trick.

I can certainly bump the cost a little. I originally used acceleration and overdrive as a rough guide when constructing the card. I left the cost low to try and make it useful in a wide range of decks, but I want the stacking to allow more dedicated strategies to be useful as well.

What seems like a more reasonable cost?

The effect reset helps a lot with balance

Though a price inscrease of +1 :time on both would certainly not hurt

Procrastionation doesn't affect weapons.

Well, the only problem is Vampire dagger. Darkness can use Steal to get rid of annoying shields (usually decks don't run lots of shields) and then damage and healing stack really fast. It is vulnerable to PC, yes, but still... this would need a slight cost increase, however other weapons wouldn't benefit that much.

Ice Shield also doesn't affect weapons, except for the damage reduction.

Sundial should affect this, as in count as a failed attack. Also, I think the cost should be 3|2. This keeps it cheap and useful while preventing it from becoming too powerful.
