Had forgotten about this idea until now. I still think it's a good one. Let me know what you think of it.

Reverse time for perms. I like it.

I just don't fully understand the thematics behind it...I guess if it froze your hands while holding a sword it would hard to grip? idk

I was thinking something like: there's a really bad storm, and you have to return to dock until it's passed. Maybe?

Water has TONS of soft PC (Ice Bolt, Freeze/Squid(voodoo)) and some stranger hard PC (Trident, NT).  I feel like this treads too much on Ice Bolt and gives yet more indirect PC to Water which already has a ton, especially for weapons.

huh? I don't think the fact that ice bolt could freeze a weapon sometimes qualifies as a ton of PC... trident doesn't hit weapons or shields and nymph tears is a really big stretch to call PC. the fact that you might have a voodoo doll to freeze your opponents weapon isn't that relevant either imo..

Sorry cheesy I'm going to have to totally disagree with you here. I think it's a good effect that fits well with the theme of water including the cards that are already in it.

This sounds like a spell, why did you classified it as a permanent?

About thematics, how about Tidal Blast? (you knocked your opponent and it has to reequip its shield/weapon)

because it stays on the field until the effect is over. could be a spell i guess. that theme works, but sounds a little cheesy for some reason

Another way to think of this card I guess is as a silence for the weapon/shield spot.
