NOTES:
Obviously got the idea from Warcraft. Click to read about it. (http://www.wowwiki.com/Frostmourne)

After making Force Shield to cover Gravity's lack of a non-situational shield, I also felt that Water probably has the least used weapon and could use a better one. Yes, it is a very powerful weapon, but it's just not worth the :water- :earth that you don't see it too often.

Frostmourne has two passive effects combined into one; for every successful attack that deals at least 1 damage, Frostmourne's attack increases by 1. A counter shows up in the weapon slot to show how much more attack Frostmourne deals.

The weapon also has a 30% chance to freeze the opponent's shield for 2 turns, giving Water a pseudo-permanent control. The shield is basically nonexistent while it's frozen. This also synergizes with the first part of the passive since freezing the shield lets Frostmourne attack more. Note that the shield first needs to be unfrozen in order to be frozen again (same logic with how a frozen creature cannot attack Ice Shield again and lengthen its frozen time).

When flown/animated, Frostmourne loses all the counter it had and restarts from 4 (5 upgraded) attack. It has a passive ability called 'Frostmourne'. If lobotomized, both the increasing damage and the freeze chance disappears (think of how lobotomizing a Steam Machine removes its active ability but also -1|0 it gains every turn). If a flown/animated Frostmourne attacks a Gravity pulled target, both parts of the passive still works.

If Shockwave is used on the player with a frozen shield, the shield is destroyed just like how frozen weapon (by opponent's frozen voodoo doll is destroyed. Both weapon and shield are destroyed if they're frozen.

AW + Frostmourne + Adren = Trululu?

But honestly, I like this card, but it seems like it could get a bit obnoxious, maybe have it be like "Damage 4, increases by 1 per successful attack with a maximum of (insert max here)" just to make sure it doesn't get out of hand. Other than that, I like :D... especially the freeze shield part... I assume that means that their shield is inactive whilst frozen

EDIT: Or I could've read "Notes" and found stuffs out. But reading is for nerbs :3

Well one reason I didn't put in anything else... was that there was no space in the card text area =_=

I was actually thinking of making the counter go back to 0 when it fails to deal damage. How's that?

I like that idea, since then you could have a 15-attack adrenalined frostmourne, then suddenly opponent plays dim shield, and it doesn't freeze it in time! Noooooooooooooooooooo!!

But yeah, cool card!

So basically it's a much more powerful version of arsenic that also has a chance of disabling your opponent's shields?

Yes. I realize there's some balancing to do.

I think the straight damage part is boring and already covered by Arsenic, as was said. I think it would be more thematic and interesting gameplay wise if you focused on the control aspect.

how about giving it minor shock as an ability? minor shock is still shockwave with less damage.... and shockwave for upgraded?

would be cool if, instead of gaining attack after each successful attack, it would do something special to crusaders who equipped it.

liquid shadow on crusaders + turn into something else upon death??  ^-^ ^-^ ^-^
if so limit to one crusader allowed to endow this..

yes, it is kinda arsenic-ey in nature..

why not make it a perm, can be targeted by endow, then goes to weapon slot after endowing?

or a perm that goes into weapon slot after X turns?

or "crumbles" a random enemy perm per hit, after "crumbling" X times, the perm is destroyed?

or give it an active ability similar to holy light|holy flash but damages every other card/mark elemental other than  :death:darkness ??

or make the freeze toggle-able:
active - drains your life, gives chance to freeze, maybe the rising damage too?
inactive - acts as a normal weapon
this way, it'd be like acceleration|overdrive but on players :)

or give it an effect that occurs after X number of creatures died?

or i could just think of other thematic stuff :) :) :)

I realize that Frostmourne has its own themes, but I'm trying to make a separate card, not the replica of Frostmourne and how it destroys the wielder's soul (or whatever it did to Arthas).
