While I've admitted this and agreed with your opinion, Maxwell's Demon can kill 3 dragons for 6 (less than this card) albeit over 3 turns.

Rain of fire can kill 23 elite skeletons/malignant cells/firefles/any combination of creatures with 3 or less hp etc for the same cost.... which is more damage than 2 dragons would be.

If it's the invested quanta spent to play said dragons that you think is part of the problem and not just the damage a dragons would do then Eternity does this even better although it doesn't kill the dragons.

Everyone sees "1 card that can kill 2 dragons lol this guy is a noob lololol" but it's honestly not that imbalanced. I would also like to suggest reading the rest of the thread and see the discussion regarding the card before posting... otherwise, you're no better than an average troll.

I like kami's idea of putting them in a time bubble or freezing them for a few turns.

Much better balanced than killing them all and akro part of the problem is that it can get rid of multiple dragons because two ruby dragons puts out more damage than a full field of (non elite) skellies and maxwell's demon is not really the same as this because first the creature must have higher attack than toughness and second the creature can't be immortal. Whereas this would bypass immortality because it is tied to the name.

I guess you could say that it would only work on your side of the field but I personally have no desire to get rid of my nice field of malignant cells which are providing excellent fodder for oty's and mutating plus healing me for 56 hp a turn.

I personally think that the time bubble idea is much better.

Bad troll. Go back to your bridge and open a dictionary.

Whereas this would bypass immortality because it is tied to the name.
I don't see how name association would matter in immortality -- although admittedly I don't know how the coding is done. I would just think a loop with a conditional statement is how that stuff is executed, and Rain of Fire doesn't harm immortals which I imagine would just be a loop without the conditional name statement.

Destroy all creatures with target creature's name, except for target creature.
This is the best solution to balance I have seen so far.

As I and some others have mentioned, the card is much more balanced (but still a bit OP) if the cost depends on the total "power" of creatures with the name, where how to measure "power" is abitrary, and use some way to stop them rather than kill them.

For example, if the cost is the total attack of the creatures, and the cards stops them for 3 turns, then stoping 3 Ruby Dragons whould cost 45 :light, which is quite expensive. Think stoping 23 fireflies for 3 turns only at the cost of 69 :light, you would probably take bakc the idea of using it.

Yea this card is ridiculously strong, partner it with a bonewall and you just made it impossible for your opponent to win. (also add in Aflatox for good measure)

As said before, the original idea is too strong. This is what I would suggest:

Deal 5 damage to all creatures with the same name as the target creature. The target creature is not harmed.

This way it would own those malignant cells and fireflys, but likely wouldn't be able to decimate 3 dragons just because the opponent has 4 of them. Also note that I made it all creatures, not just enemy creatures :).

And I might make it cost one or two less (with that effect). Either 6 unupped 5 upped or 5 unupped 4 upped.

Propaganda Priest:
Stats
Ability: When a creature dies, all the other creatures of its type attend the funeral for 2 turns.

Very edible, I approve.

Maligant Cells can quickly recover from that. And making it affect own creatures also is not very nice 'cuz you seldom use mobspam strategy using the same creature as your enemy. Also consider killing Crimson Drags
