the card, unnuped and upped, is useless as it is right now

you should lower the absorption cost to just 1 for both versions
even after that change, comparing it forest spirit, this card loses to it
so maybe you could say that if Fish is in a flooded area, absorption cost should be free or reveive a bigger boost from it imo

If it had n Attack, it would be kinda a self balancing act with the absorbtion. Possibly a good idea for a seperate card though.

lol this card is weak. Compare growth and ablaze, where it only costs one quanta for 2atk or steam, where it costs 2 quanta for 3atk. Yours costs 3 quanta for 1 atk, and it automatically drains quanta. It also dies if it can't drain? 3 quanta per turn is a lot you know right?
