Fills two differing rolls in time. The first is a burst damage output, similar to sky blitz, but causing those affected to return to their owner's hand afterward. If the owner's hand is full they will be shuffled into the owners deck.
This ability can stack with sky blitz as well, leading to massive damage output potential. The creatures affected will attack immediately (i.e. before the normal attack phase).
This potentially potent combo is mitigated by several factors:
1) Time has few flying creatures
2) The creatures have to be marked before you play them
3) This creature is vulnerable to CC.
4) This creature does not fly, so it cannot be shielded by SoFr
5) (most importantly) You will need a source of :air quanta to use after playing Sky Blitz

The upgraded version is a more of a strategic power play and provides the time element with some lethal CC capability (I wanted to call the active skill 'Death Note' but there was no room).
The creature will grow stronger each turn (up to +8 ATK potentially). The card marking ability triggers just before the attack phase.
Essentially, the opponent is forced to weigh out the extra damage they will take by holding their marked creature cards until this creature can be CC'd vs losing their creature after a few turns.
The active skill will place a debuff on all marked enemy creatures that will cause them to die in a number of turns based on their casting cost (square root of cost rounded up). If an affected creature has a casting cost of 0, it dies instantly. All other creatures will die after N attacks. This falls in line with the thematic interpretation of adrenaline which effectively gives extra attacks as if the creature took extra turns).

Like all abilities that interact with marked cards, immaterial creatures that are marked will still be affected by both the unupgraded and upgraded active skill.

The idea looks nice. Personally love the thought put on the mitigation factors for the most obvious broken combo.

The upgraded one looks a bit too math heavy though. The N=sqrt(cost) could be changed for a catapult-like text (I know it's more text, but it'd look better). IDK how to solve the text overload, maybe the M part could be obviated?

The cost relation is mainly a way to make more powerful creatures harder to kill. The real emphasis for this skill is that it kills every marked creature eventually .... I actually wanted to name the skill 'Death Note' (in honor of the anime) i.e. 'their days are numbered' sort of theme.
So just outright killing the two cheapest creatures immediately isn't what I was aiming for. It would also make killing very powerful creatures a little to easy against non-swarm decks..

I could, of course, go with just using N=cost, but that makes it essentially useless against anything that costs more than about 5 quanta.
Hence, I went with square root, which scales up realtively quickly at first and then slowly later on.

Wish I had one more line to work with. If so I would change the text to: "Marked enemies will now die in a number of turns based on their cast cost"

With the catapult wording in mind

How does this look: " :death Marked enemies die soon high cost enemies take longer."

This would still be based on square root of cost, but now players who don't like math won't be left scratching their heads. Lol.
