Dude, soul normally comes out from draining people's lives, which is :darkness like. For example, Soulsteel. Perhaps Spirit Elixir should be better.

Elixir of Immortality is the only other choice. It makes you immortal, doesn't have anything to do with souls/spirits.

I still prefer Elixir of Life or Elixir of Eternal Life.

This might be a cultural thing but the only times I've ever heard the term "liquid gold" used were to literally reference melted gold and to reference pee. A quick google search also tells me that Scott's Liquid Gold can be used to clean wood.
