Series for the 4 standard elements [water, fire, earth, air]

Basically, you gotta pay every turn to prevent the god from attacking you instead of your opponent. If you do, you get a huge creature with high ATK and very high HP.

Offering sacrifices to gods is a good mechanic, but this cards don't have many advantages to Dragons, except for the HP.
It makes Catapult and SoSa (?) decks more fun, something that look fine.

The first turn you can't use the ability, so you take the damage right?

Looks like a good start of a series, but I would prefer different sacrifice mechanics for each god. (Quanta, discarding, creatures (therefore better stats), permanents...)

By the way, Poseidon is a bad name as there is already:

ahahahah sorry for Poseidon... gotta change it in Neptunus, or use the latin names instead of the greek ones for the whole series.

Chapuz makes a good point... I didn't think about the first turn. And yes, the idea was basically a strong interaction with catapults, and also with acceleration.

A different sacrifice mechanics is intriguing, perhaps involving creatures to be sacrificed and not just quanta. I guess I can combine the two issues and find a solution... perhaps: sacrifice a creature when you play the god, and then pay the quanta in the following turns... but it becomes a bit complicated and hard to phrase? Or even different sacrifice systems for the different gods.

Well we could make a larger series, Chronos for time, Artemis for Life, Ades for death... some elements beat me, tho... entropy is quite the challenge :D

See the card Orochi, from the Anvil. It's quite a success in oetg.
But many cards and very similar to each other is boring... the sacrifices or something should change.

Btw there's a greek god of Luck, it appears in one of the God of War series.
