Chapuz makes a good point... I didn't think about the first turn. And yes, the idea was basically a strong interaction with catapults, and also with acceleration.
A different sacrifice mechanics is intriguing, perhaps involving creatures to be sacrificed and not just quanta. I guess I can combine the two issues and find a solution... perhaps: sacrifice a creature when you play the god, and then pay the quanta in the following turns... but it becomes a bit complicated and hard to phrase? Or even different sacrifice systems for the different gods.
Well we could make a larger series, Chronos for time, Artemis for Life, Ades for death... some elements beat me, tho... entropy is quite the challenge
