Hmm, on reflection yeah you're probably right. To be able to recycle a card and get quanta is overpowered. However sacrificing a card for quanta might be reasonable, after all most anti-FG decks aren't made with many spare cards in them, and for speed decks the quanta gain wouldn't generally be worth the loss of speed. Would it be better balanced that way?
(And yeah the name is mostly driven by the image which is driven by the competition, maybe card design is not my calling )
To be honest, Example, mono-gravity deck....
10 tower, 6 of these guys
I draw 3 tower opening hand
Play 2 tower and him out, then next turn, i throw my tower to the back of my deck for extra 4 quanta..... and I can speed up so much more then normal....... Or throw something else
Bad draw is an element of the game, you aren not scarficing anything, you are throwing away things.
Good FG deck more then often will get to a point where you have 8 card you need to pick someting precious to discard (sundial for example), but now, dont discard it throw it to the back of deck and get mroe quanta
Oh, by the way, by back of deck, does that mean the last card of the deck, if it does, then the "eternity = last card" deck out problem is solved....
I think to balance it, the only way is, it cost 3 quanta, and it doesnt give you any quanta in return, probably still overpowered, but much much better...
