“There’s nothing like a little rivalry to fire up a battle… well… maybe not so little today.”

Should be very straight forward. A random enemy creature gets picked and then a random creature from the opposite element of that enemy is created for you and hit with a chaos power buff.

Spoiler for Elemental opposites:
:air - :earth
:water - :fire
:life - :death
:light - :darkness
:aether - :time
:gravity - :entropy

Example: your opponent has a bunch of earth creatures in play. You cast this and gain a random air creature with chaos power.

I'd... Simplify this. It's a bit too random.
I'd have the card target a creature, and have a chaos-powered opposing creature of it, simply because 3 random dice rolls feels a little bit too complicated on my side.

It took a while for me to grok it correctly.

Is this able to give Nymphs, Pharaohs, and Arctic Octopus? I assume not SoFo, because Fate Egg and Mutation don't give SoFo either.

It should definitely give anything that is not a shard, yes.

... As for giving SoFo or a wimpy shard golem? ... don't know. Probably no though unless there is a good reason to do otherwise.

I LOVE IT

It totally fits the theme of entropy, but I would like it to be "random creature of the opposing element of the opponent's mark" so it doesn't require your opponent to have a creature.

I support changing the effect to oppose the opponent's mark.

Like Antimatter, SoW/Reflect, Liquid Antimatter, and other powerful strategies that revolve around the opponent's creatures, I think it should still be based on targeting the opponent's creatures. Just generating a buffed creature based on mark seems a little unbalanced to me. Compare this vs Fate Egg or Mutation. First, this is a spell and thus, un-CC-able. Second, it requires no creatures on the field. Third, this is already buffed and thus more powerful than Fate Egg. The original card is powerful enough without buffing it further.

I went the total random route for thematic emphasis. I can see how that makes at little too confusing and unpredictable to be easily used though, so I have no idea allowing for a bit of control in what creature gets targeted.

Basing it off the opponents mark certainly fits the theme. I somewhat dislike that it would allow it to be cast without any creatures in play in the opponents side, but I like how it shifts the meaning so it is interesting at least.

I first envisioned having a spell that generated a rival for some creature your opponent had in play. Shifting to base off opponents mark makes it more like generating or recruiting a creature that is specifically your opponents rival.

I will definitely shift the element selection to be a little more clear cut, but I would like a little more feedback on which option seems best.
1) Player picks an enemy creature
2) Based solely off of opponent's mark
3) Player may choose either an enemy creature or their opponent (mark).

All three options have merit and drawbacks so a little more feedback on what people think is most useful / balanced would be good.

Option 1. Because compared with Fate Omelette Egg it is more powerful, because of CP but also it has no weak first turn. This would make it so you can't play this until your opponent hits you. Although I suppose it does offer the benefit of being able to choose (from a limited list of options, at least) what element your creature is going to be.
