| NOTES: | "Today is a great day to be alive."
"Today, two shall be as one and a third shall rise."
The idea behind this card is to allow the player to breed dragons, combing the traits of two different ones to get a unique combination.
This ability creates a dragon egg in a slot this is adjacent to the two dragons involved. The egg will be a 0|1 creature that has the ability / card text: "Dies if there are ever fewer than two dragons adjacent. 4, Hatch: Create a new dragon derived from those nearby."
The egg mechanic (a.k.a. How To Breed Your Dragons): -One of the nearby dragons is chosen as the base. --The base determines the card image and any ability present --Stats are determined by comparing the base stats to the average of the stats for all nearby dragons. The larger value is then chosen. --Any positive traits, statuses, etc. from each nearby dragon are also passed on to the hatchling.
Example: Suppose you have an egg next to a Jade Dragon with this ability and momentum, and also next to a Colossal dragon with overdrive. The Jade dragon is a 13|7 , The Colossal Dragon is a 8|16 One of 2 things can happen: 1) The Jade Dragon is picked as the base, yielding a 13|11 with Virility and momentum 2) The Colossal Dragon is picked as the base, yielding an 11|16 with overdrive and momentum
Note: The cost of breeding dragons using eggs is clearly much less expensive than summoning them to begin with. However, it also requires you to spend extra turns waiting for each egg to hatch, and the egg itself is extremely fragile.

Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
