Which one is it, three turns, three spell/permanent targetings (I'm assuming that Phase Plating won't save your permanents from Mutant Steal/Destroy or Butterfly Effect), whichever comes first, or what?

If upped Phase Plating is to be played for no quanta, you should untick its Cost Icon as well.

Fixed, also, its which comes first. It would save it from all PC for 3 turns/3 PC cards.

Unfortunate that this will only ever be used in a Monoaether for Dims. The positive is that EA Dims isn't such a strong deck that it can't be a mono, so it gets a bit of a buff.

Regardless, I think you need to find a way to differentiate it from EA in some way. While 3 turn duration does that, it also makes it useless outside of Dims, so I'd find some other way. Preventing x (3 seems good) amount of PC uses and costing 1 less would be a simple way to do so, though unexciting.

Unexciting and also basically not much different. You will be rarely able to put 3 Deflags/Steals on it, and a Pulvy theoretically needs 3 turns to bring a Dim down - so the time it runs out anyway. And, overall, a buff for Dims isn't needed.

EA in MA wouldn't be a buff to Dims because the decks that run EA+Dims are aimed at different decks than normal MA's are. Spending 6 cards against a deck with 0-1 PC cards is tantamount to suicide by loss of draw value and could very well make a Dim deck with this card lose where a normal MA wouldn't. It would definitely have you lose to a deck with healing because much lower total offense.

In the past I'd play EA Dims very rarely and that hasn't changed over the years; in fact it's gotten even weaker thanks to Psion and Shards. That's why I said I wouldn't mind a buff to EA Dims at all. As for 3, it's far from the same as infinite protection thanks to Pulvy and SoFo (which are now in War). The fact that you can break a Dim with this in play means you can win a game by breaking the Dim chain for at least one turn. This means your early damage has a purpose; to let you win on that last turn where you broke the Dim. With EA you don't have that option: you're completely locked out of the game if you relied on PC to survive Dims.
