Is there room to add, "If Djinn dies return it to lamp instead."?

It does seem a bit needlessly complicated though, is there any reason to have it this way instead of the original?

I could use: "Guards nearby allies. If one of them dies, return it to hand and Djinn to lamp. If Djinn dies return it to lamp instead."

But, it requires removing the explanation of what happens if it gets played on its own instead of from a lamp.

Humanoids are some of the trickiest things to get right...
If I had a full version of DaZ studio to work with I could use one of the models as a jump point... of course that would require 100+ dollars... which I don't have. Lol.
Hopefully this will come out pretty well though.

Its almost done rendering. Anti-aliasing is taking a long time due to the smoke and fire effects. I will post in the morning when I get up... Till then I need a few hours of shut eye.

I will take it into GIMP for some finishing effect work as well.

Well, having it be a lamp and a creature avoids having it be immortal like my original version.  You can kill it by destroying the lamp.  And in your field version it allows you to move it around the field.  2 benefits.  On the downside it makes it more complex which may throw off some voters.

I was thinking we'd run with the complex version first, see if we can get it very far in the voting, and if that fails re-release it more like my original version.

Does that sound good to you?

I think you should take the lead on this version.  I'd go with the "Guards nearby allies. If one of them dies, return it to hand and Djinn to lamp. If Djinn dies return it to lamp instead." instead of detailing what happens if played from hand.

I like the direction you took with the art.  The helping hand reaching out really suited the flavor of the card.  Also like how you managed to balance out the lamp, hand, and eyes.  Great work.

The upgraded versions are identical but have casting cost lowered by 1 :time quanta.
