If you give me a rough sketch / outline of what you want I can try making something in hexagon / bryce. Bryce can do some fun fire and smoke like effects.

Or, if you want, I could try incorporating this card as part of the field effect series I'm running.

I think it would work out well if it's ability triggered when any adjacent ally dies.

If the ability is made a passive then combined with an ability that lets it move to a chosen slot, this card could even protect more than 1 creature at a time.

Still working on it... Making the genie lamp look right is eluding me right now... but I think I almost have it.



The lamp portion of the model is now done. (No texturing on it yet, but imagine it as shiny gold / bronze metal)

Now I will work on the smoke like Djinn coming out of it.

What would be the outcome if a Schro's cat was targeted, and it used its skill?

It would be awesome (and in keeping with the idea of Shrodinger's cat) if the cat both stayed in play and returned to your hand.

Also, if they are eaten by otyugh, does otyugh grow?

Considering that the cat does indeed "die" I guess it would go back to your hand... or maybe you just get a copy. That would actually be kinda cool.
Considering the cost involved in repeating that combo, I don't think it would be game breaking or anything. Just amusing.
(The cost of each kitty would be :entropy plus this card's cost)

I would guess that otyugh would still grow as well... Its still eating something, the Djinn just returns its dead remains back to life with a wish.

Since I already have the lamp made anyway, what do you think about having the Djinn come from a permanent:
Magic Lamp 3 :time
"Houses one Djinn. Djinn dies if lamp breaks.
:time : Call the Djinn to target slot or recall it to the lamp."

Then the Djinn can be:
Djinn 3 :time
"Guards nearby allies. If one of them dies, return it to hand and Djinn to lamp (or owner's hand if no lamp was used)."

I.e. the Djinn card itself would not be available in the bazaar, only the lamp. Although you could still cast one as a normal creature if it gets returned to your hand.

... Or do you think that would be too complicated?
