This is actually a really cool idea with variable uses. It can be anti-creature control against your opponent, or it can be used to achieve creature control or reverse creature control against the opponent. You can even use it to save a poisoned creature. Excellent idea, +rep

I love this card idea! Although I think this would better suit darkness/fire rather than time. Djinn are dark smoke-like creatures with a human-like build.

I think the theme was built around a certain magic lamp, however it was well designed within Time mechanics. Good start.

As you are returning 2 creatures to hand, one of them would need to be discarded if you have 7 cards. Which of them would have a priority to remain in hand? Djinn or the targeted creature?

Let me clarify, since schro's cat doesn't actually die, does djinn effect affect schro's cat when it activates its ability. That what he is trying to say atleast, thats what I think.

I think it would count as it dying and they'd both return to hand.  and wouldn't the player get to choose a discard card?  If not, we'll say the cat dies, then the djinn, then the djinn goes to hand then the cat.  So, teh cat would be the one to be discarded first.

The only reason I used Time was the return to hand aspect.  Seemed to fit best in Time.  But, you are right, thematically Fire would probably be better.  But, if you saw the latest Clash of the Titans movie, teh Djinn were rock like creatures that wandered the desert.  And desert fits with Time to a T.  So, that's how I envision them more similar to the CotT DJinns and less so to the Muslim ones.

I think they work extremely well in the time element myself. The connection to mythological desert creatures makes them a good fit in time as does their ability to return creatures to hand.

Its a perfect fit in my opinion.

There is another similar myth, the "Ifrit" ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ifrit ) that would work well as a twin under fire / darkness.
