NOTES:
"Gains half of this card's poison" means that half of the poison is applied to the target and this card loses half. Example, this card has 8 poison and the ability is used, both creatures now have 4 poison. Magic!

For odd numbers, the carrier keeps the +1, so 5 counters would be split 3 on the carrier and 2 on the target. Double Magic!

For purifies, this card loses one purify each turn until it hits zero, then its starts gain poison again. Triple Magic!

Values can be changed and swapped around, balancing be damned.

Purify counters can be transferred from this creature with the same rules applying. Aflapoison transferred from this creature with cause aflatoxin on the target.

Really good Idea, I like the half-poison infect ability. very efficient against dragons, and would combo perfectly with Basilisk Blood. You should make a spell card with the ability of Disease/Infested Carrier. But it may be OP or something. Also it has good attack, and is well defended. Just 1 thing: this creature dies on its own, in 3 turns. You can only use the ability twice. You better make it enter with less poison counters or increase it's HP. That way this card would be more effective, and that would give probabilities for this card to go to the game. If you increase max HP, the you should make this a :gravity :death hybrid.

Really innovative idea! I like it, though I feel like the upgrade's not worth much. Maybe more HP in the upgraded version?

Also, since you mentioned purify, does this transfer purify counters with the skill? What about aflatoxin?

I work it out as 4 attacks and 3 ability uses at current. Assuming you use the ability every turn, you'll lose 5 the first turn, 3 the next, 2 the next and then 2 finally to die from exact damage. But still, 4 attacks is still pretty low but think of the CC. I would probably buff the HP on the upped and leave attack at 7, something 7|16? And personally I think it fits ok in just death, zombies can be big and strong too.

Since purify is treated as negative poison, it would transfer over also. Themeatically, aflatoxin would pass over I guess so I'll say yes to that one.

Also, you think this should be able to target players or no?

16 HP's give two turns of suvivability, which might be a bit overkill. Maybe 14 HP (which is one more turn, that's 7 damage and 1 infection)?

That's a really creative idea :) I like it. And answering your question, it might become too powerful to allow it to target player as well in my opinion. Your notes is a complete FAQ for me, so I have no further questions :) Balancing is another story though :P

CataPosion!!! But seriously, this+Catapult can give 6 poison per turn in your opponents face and dealing 11(sacrificed creature)+7 damage(if next turn sacrifice played in this turn dealing damage as well), if upped 25/turn just without other cards. But it needs lot of  :death quanta and a duo, so can be balanced. At least Catapult becomes usable more deck except mono-  :gravity

I like it. Opens up synergy between earth and death which either I'm blind for not seeing yet or just isn't there. Gets in for some nice damage before it dies while leaving a lasting effects. I would be happy to replace the dragons in the AI3 farmer with something like this.
I think this where I say something witty.

Came across it while working on a card earlier. Works well here I think.

Please decrease the attack power. 7 is too much for a strategic creature like this. I would prefer 0-3 attack power actually, compared to Iridium Warden.
I agree with needing a decrease, but keep in mind that the creature is only going to live a few turns at most:

Turn 1: 5 +1 = 6 poison -> 6 hp lelft
Turn 2: use ability -> 3 +1 = 4 poison -> 2 hp left
Turn 3: use ability -> 2 +1 = 3 poison -> dead
So at best, this card gets 3 attacks unless you start shelling out for some form of healing.

Without using the ability this creature only gets 2 attacks (6 poison + 7 poison = 13 damage -> dead) unless healed. Further, even if you used a guardian angel, it would only survive +1 turn.

You could use purify, of course, but then you lose the strategic value of spreading poison.

Now for total poison spread, using the posted scheme (with no healing) you would spread 3 +2 = 5 poison before this creature dies.

So if we assume that that 5 poison is equivalent to 5 attack power, then this creature can have an attack power of about 2... factor in a limited life span though, and it should probably really be 2+ ... maybe 3 or 4?

P.S. I wish I could still vote on rating. I think this card deserves much more than a 2 star rating.

Interesting, i like it but i suggest it enters game with 4 poison counters other than 5, cost is not low either so yeah. Good idea!
