But it sure is one of those that you REALLY want to steal. Now that the wording is more straightforward, there has to be a way to fix it so that two Stone Tablets don't protect each other, and a Stone Tablet cannot be targeted by Protect Artifact, otherwise this could be massively overpowered... Even as it is, it is extremely powerful.

I don't think it's a problem that stone tablets protect each other. One of them has to go away first anyway.
It's possible I didn't get what you mean though

maybe if it read "if at any time stone tablet can be targeted by the opponent, it must be targeted" it would solve problems.
it would be useless PA'd and it wouldn't prevent from trident and quicksand.

If you look at the description you will notice that the upgraded also protects against steal.  The non-upgraded only protects against destroy.

The stone tablet is too powerful to be summoned so cheaply. It is like a protect aftifact for everything (but that protect aftifact is all dependant on one card).
I think the power to summon these every turn is too OP. It would completely stop a pulveriser every turn, and the pulveriser has the disadvantage as the Upgraded one, costs the same as the unupgraded summoner. And the pulveriser must be used in a duo (or more) while this can be used in a mono.
