Hm. The unupped is sometimes better than the upped.

How does stacking work for these pillars? Do they synchronize like Pendulums do?

Yes they work like pendulums in the respect that they sync.

The upped would only work better when in synergy with abnubis/ aether decks. Both would be worthless against said decks though.

This applies for all the Tower Series. I personally do not like that they alternate like pendula and yet are still Towers.

Maybe you could find another class of "quanta generators" to put these under?

I'll be honest with you - I'm naff at names and I used pillars as they generate quanta. Whe[countdown][/countdown]n I put up the series thread you're more than welcome to suggest new names.

I see a bit of a balance issue. Although it kind of acts like the shield that causes stops creatures for a turn, you could entirely stop all of your opponent's creatures with planning. If you play a deck with creatures that are immortal (Cannot be targeted), and had a few of these, along with some alternation, it could just give you a free kill streak until a perm killer comes.

If you read upwards a bit, I said something very similar. But the enemy would still get one turn out of two and would destroy you if running an aether deck itself.

So they attack every other turn.

On terms of aether deck though, Phase Dragon + Dimensional Shield is absolute bawss.
Even still, if you just run one of these in a nuking deck or a stall deck.
