ART: unit748596 IDEA: unit748596 NOTES: art coming soon. 1 shield fragment protects a creature from ANY ability that touches it. it basically makes that creature untouchable. a shield fragment disappears after one use.

How would this work with devour (would oty still get stats?) and how would it work with Drain Life for example, with several instances of damage?

Really nice idea, might be hard to code though.

First of all, your wording sucks. It was difficult to understand and I had to reread multiple times.

Also, what does the shield do when it is not sacrificed?

I know the wording ... but he means that you cast this on your own shield, destroying it, and then a set number of fragments is given to each of your creatures, however I think that the numbers are a little bit too high, giving 3 fragments to each creature would make them nearly impossible to kill as you would need over 3 spells to kill a single one of them

the wording sucks because its hard to fit a lot on that tiny card. i summarized it as much as i can. and i fear it may still not fit. there will have to be some info that can only be filled in with experience with this card. or by someone making a detailed description on how it works.

Ok I get it now. But no this would be OP as that Fewk said. 5 of your creatures are immune to 3 spells/effects each.

hows this work with an immaterial shield?
how does this work with a bonewall?

and I think the cost should be equal to 12- cost of shield (in other quantum) to prevent abuse with low cost shields

Hmm.. its a interesting spell... if the shield fragment does what I think it does (does it just block a damage?  and once so, it is gone?)

Don't really think you need the part about Sacrifice shield than...

it would be op if the cost were 5, maybe 10 cost? or hell, maybe we can make it a card for a certain element? but what element would fit this effect. earth is powerful enough as it is, fire doesnt like defense.... maybe entropy? or better yet, it's unupped form is entropy, and the upped form is a different element?! that would be new. but maybe not good... hm.....
