So I came up with this as I read the traps thread.

The idea with these is it punishes Darkness and Fire for destroying or stealing good things. I have made the cost similar to the types of things people like to steal. As for what it becomes the one it won't be is a pillar but it could be any other permanent from your Mark or Other. So it could be a Shard, a Weapon or Life Bond. It has no ability except mimicing what the card looks like.

Hmm.

Interesting. Will AIs target it like normal permanents?

What do you mean when it becomes "a random active permanent from your Mark or other"? Does this include weapons and shields? If so, then that will be bad.

And can this even be coded?

Aside from these obvious flaws, this card is actually quite a good idea. Indirect permanent control, and more cards for Other. Toss this in a Rainbow deck for fun.

Ok maybe I should make a list of what I believe to be active permanents. But to clarify this those not become something with an ability. So if it was a weapon it would only look like one so not really much use as your opponent would wonder why nothing was happening with your weapon. Same with Shields, no ability. If it was a shard it would look like one but give no bonus so your opponent has to be quick to pick up on this and hopefully you have more than 1 in play and they steal the wrong one.

Not sure if it can be coded but I would hope so and would be fun in an Other deck anyway or Rainbow. Life would find this useful espicially with Emphatic Bonds in play.

The Other idea I had was it copies a Permanent you have in play. but I discarded that idea although it could be useful.

Maybe it could be used as a spell rather than a permanent the problem of course being that your opponent would know you played the card even if they didn't know which permanent you had played it on.

I think as a spell it would work really well. Costing 4 Random means you could throw it out with a bunch of other cards and your opponent has to count up in order to realise the cost.

This way you could cast it on your Quantum Pillars as well meaning that if they are stolen damage is done.
