I can see that Darkness already has CC, and the only Element that doesn't have CC is life, but a card that brings DEATH to all creatures kind of destroys the idea of :life.

This new idea encompasses the Darkness vibe a lot more (draining life for healing).

Card image link appears broken.  Also there's already a card named black hole, so that could cause confusion.

Problem with a card like this - it kills creatures without accounting for their health, which EtG is opposed to.  Solution(?): deal X damage to all creatures, even immortal creatures, where X is an arbitrary (and large) number of your choosing.

now about the card: this breaks 2 taboos when making card ideas: insta-kill and immortal targeting.

a way i can see to reduce this and make it differ from regular AoE spells is: have it deal a certain number of damage to all enemy creatures with an added effect. (maybe drain life all opponent creatures?)

1) Cards which kill a creature regardless of their stats are a big no-no and are highly unlikely to be implemented in game.

2) Cards which can affect immortal and burrowed creatures are also a no go zone. Many people hate on Sow for this so we really don't need another point for dispute.

3) Even if this card costs 15 :darkness, it is waaaaaaay too powerful. <10% of deck strategies are creature-less so this would be game breaking.

The problem with SoW is that it BUFFS immortals.  Something that hits immortal creatures would be a nerf to Aether, and therefore probably be received positively.  Though I don't think an AoE spell should, I think it should be a specific anti-immortal card, or at least a card that you have to consciously spend on an immortal creature instead of just catching it by chance.
