I couldn't imagine ever using this card.  With the exception of Immolation, I don't see a reason to kill your creature just to kill another.

You can use this on a useless creature or fail mutant and strong opponent creature. And you can also get extra skeletons with this as well.

well.. let's put an example.. the opponent have a fire buckler and your creature is about to die and he have a strong creatures on his side of the field..
or simply to kill a strong creature (a creature that you cannot kill, as an example because in this turn you can't deal to that creature enought damage to kill it) killing a weak one instead
example.. you have a fire bolt or a drain life or some kind of attacking spell and enought quanta to cast it, but target creature will survive with1-2 hp
i think, if you have creatures, that can be more useful to kill one of these creatures in order to destroy that enemy creature (firefly queen or pharaon) instead of having your creature on the field (devourer).. well..

the example why this is can be OP.. put a photon, this card and immolation.. you can defeat a flying titan
but in fact this card would bound you to have something to sacrifice. i think this is the interesting part
so.. if you don't have a creature.. well.. this card is useless

to kill 1 of your opponent creature.   you must use 2 card.  right?  (don't count a card that can sacrifice your creature by your own, that's use more than two...)

first your own creature, and second this card.  don't even think this card is a bit situation to use,   and i'm think frost and shock wave is a bit better...  right?

What about linking your Virus|Retrovirus, sacrificing it and geting two creatues at the same time? or puting a link on an enemy Massive Dragon and attaching the other to a Black Dragon w/ Liquid Shadow on it?

Or + mutation/pandemonium. ther'es a chance everything will die, and at least then, you will take your opponent's stuff with you. Will also make sure the opponent is careful about tossing RoF around.

You guys can't just link darkness quanta with any given cheap cost card.
