Cthulhu's Cards https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=2134.msg17436#msg17436

Instead of cluttering everything up with a million threads I'm going to use this one for all my random ideas and just update it every once in a while.

Let's start of with an idea inspired by an old magic card:

Mitosis
18 Aether quanta
Permanent
When you play ~ discard a creature.
At the beginning of your turn ~ generates a copy of the discarded creature.

Talarize (named after mercury's winged sandels)
3 gravity (and/or Aether?)
Target creature is immortal and gains momentum until the next turn.

Galactic Alignment
13 time quanta
At the end of every turn you gain life equal to half the number of cards remaining in your deck.

Altar
7 random
Permanent
Sacrifice a creature: increase your total hp by 5.

Fling
3 air
Target creatures health becomes 0 and gains dive.

Strange vortex
8 time
Permanent
Whenever a creature deals damage to a player, return it to the top of it's owner's deck.

Not "and" aether because multi/color cards are not going to be implemented soon... if they are at all  ;)

Well, if the game lasts long enough multicolor cards would be an inevitability, and they wouldn't be too horrible to code. It's just an idea anyway.

Chriskang stated that multi-cost cards are impossible to code. It will require the entire game to be rewritten, and a whole lot of other problems. If you don't believe me, then ask him.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

If you say so. Doesn't sound right to me, but I've neither seen the source nor programmed in flash.

We already discussed this thread, and I remember SG explained in detail why it would have been very difficult. It's true.

I remember Chriskang discussed it.

Also, well... Mitosis doesn't sound good with the name, the effect is powerful... I'd put a 5 turn limit on its working.

Talarize sounds alrighty, with a creture becoming great just for one turn.

It's so costly, it's a very nice card with an innovative concept. Here, have a like. And it promotes larger decks as well.
