note that it synergizes with 3 different series (2 of which are based on creatures that boost each other) horned frog is not.

I know it autocasts, but the possibility that you have 2 life quanta is more likely than the possibility that your opponent decides to kill your creature.

Also, the stats are lower.

the trick isnt the autocast (at least not entirely.) the trick is that for the most part, most Cats and most Crystal cards boost each other, so this would get boosts in either type of deck.

Simply because a card can be used in multiple decks does not warrant a cost increase. Unless those decks are more potent when combined, there's no reason to up the cost.

Maybe you feel like making a deck out of all crystal and cat cards and buffing this card to the moon? Well, looking at all the cards you made, none of them have any excessive buffs, and I don't think 1 attack is worth 2 higher than Horned Frog while having lower stats.
