It seems really important to me to add in the description that the ability can be used only once (there is plenty space left).

This is a pretty powerful ability, so I think that a duo cost ( fits the theme) for it is in order. May overshadow parasite, as it does a similar job and in case your opponent has few creatures it is much more efficient.

I don't remember entirely, but I thought it was that he didn't want targetable instant kills without conditions...
Although this may be a fine line here.

I realize, it would be severly weakened, but what if the ability killed a random creature from either side?... Kind of like russian roulette.

That's actually how I interpreted the wording in the card. It doesn't say target opponent creature dies after all. That's just plain OP.

Even random creature is enough to be OP, since opponent won't bring sub-par creatures and if he did bring them, he will lose anyway.
Now the question: is 5 + 1 turn enough to instant kill? (consider fractal too)

I meant that your creatures could end up being killed as well, not just opponent's

Yeah, Insta-kill isn't really something that can be easily justified in card design...

I did mean the creature to be single-use and random, not targeted. Also, note that the Crow | Raven has one hit point, so there are plenty of ways to prevent it from killing something. I also thought, and should probably add, that an immaterial creature wouldn't be killed by it.

@OdinVanguard: I like the idea of "marking" a creature thematically, but I thought it was more balanced to allow your opponent a turn to get out of it.
