NOTES:
Just something that Jocko and I came up with after talking a bit. Death needs a form of PC, and compared to Explosion, this card may be a bit UP, which can be decided with a poll. But anyways, having something like this adds a new dimension to PC. Also what would probably happen (imo) is if the weapon became animate, it would receive two poison (or three if upped). Feel free to vote in the poll and comment on this thread. Just an afterthought, it might be easier mechanic-wise for it to only affect non-stackable permanents, and anyways... no one is gonna use it to destroy one pillar/pend :3. Idk... post your thoughts

Well, Explosion is about to have its cost raised, so it's not as UP. I don't think you'd want to be the same nor better than explosion, else the problem would still exist. UP isn't always bad.

I meant that because explosion will cost 2 :fire and destroy the permanent immediately, corrosion (upped) costs 2 :death , and destroys the permanent in one more turn :3

I think explosion is sort of like Graboid in that you shouldn't really compare cards like it to it because it's just so extremely effective at what it does that practically nothing will come close to it.

perhaps lower the cost of the upped to 1? However that seems a bit OP. I think it's fine as it is.

Don't really think death needs PC, at least before other elements.

Poison already gets around shields nicely.

And poison shouldn't carry over to flying. Like BBing a doll, your opponent's weapon isn't delayed when flying.

If it were to be useable on stackable permanents, it could be what zanz said he was looking for, was some way to implement the stackability aside from saving space.  If you nerf it to 3 turns and make it "burn" down a stack of peramanents, this could be a lovely form of PC, and much different from Explosion.

Sounds like a decent idea, I'll talk it over with Jocko. "Corroding" a whole stack of permanents = Trollface@Most the FGs

The only real difference is that they have the permanent for one or two more turns (knowing that it will be destroyed and when), the cost, and any synergies strictly because of the element.

I think that, if used on a pillar stack, it consumes one pillar per two turns / per turn until the stack is gone.  It would justify a raise in the price and suit the name.  It's basically what Malebolgia said, as long as that is what he meant by "burning".

Just thought of something for this:
     Maybe it starts with one permanent and destroys it after one turn, then spreads to another random permanent. If no permanents are left then it disappears from play. Maybe add in a chance for it to be 'cured' every turn.

Not your fault; ideas in the Crucible Archive are considered dead, and to be honest, who'd want to look through them all? :)

This could be changed to 1 turn for each and have the upgraded cost one. As it currently stands the upgraded version is overshadowed massively by Explosion. Other than that, I like it.
