I would have done the opposite of your tower.

What, alternately generate 1  and give your opponent some quanta?

Divine P/T Alternately generates and increase hp by 1.

That's a powerful card, but it's also fairly narrow in that it only works against a few decks, and if your opponent is not using dark/death creatures, then this card is even worse than a pillar.  It would need playtesting, but I think it's reasonable.

I think Holy Light is a suboptimal source for a special Light Pillar mechanic.
Too situational/Too powerful
