The idea behind these cards is choice and the luck of the draw. Should you discard your Crimson dragon to keep your Deflagration? But what if your opponent plays a strong shield? The upgraded version, for a bit more quanta, makes only your opponent make the choice.

True, but with introduction of GoTP, this flak might go down a bit.

It does limit your hand, but it feels too expensive.  Perhaps cost of 8  :entropy | 10  :entropy ?

Really? I wasn't sure if I should make them, especially the upgraded version, too easy to get out. I guess that I could make it a bit cheaper in cost.

EDIT: Actually, The "Ghost of the Past" was a bit of the inspiration for these cards
