Btw, does the art have to be made by author of card or can u just put any image?

Unless I say otherwise, any usable image goes.

EDIT : To clarify, the card must have art that would be accepted in the Crucible to be submitted.

hold on Z, I thought this was for the competition, not crucible, therefore i believe it would not matter if art were crucible acceptable or not.
I thought this would have the same system as the Designers Blitz competition in the past, disregarding imagery and only voting on abilities and such.
Why should we flood the CI&A section with cards that aren't even going to crucible?

For safety and the Curator's sake, use Crucible-accepted art anyways. It's sort of like during the Team PvP Card Design - even though there were many submissions, usable art was still submitted.

Sorry i dont understand what you mean be usable art, because all i saw in the competition Team PvP card design, was Ramdomly placed images and Ms Paint drawings, how are those usable images? please specify Z.

Also why do we have to flood the CI&A section just for a competition? these cards are for this competition, therefore shouldn't we use the system that PvP card design blitz comp used?

If I'm correct most card designers tried to stick with http://sxc.hu/, royalty free, or handmade images.

I highly doubt they did because the comp said we could use any image we wanted, it didn't matter.
Imo, they did that because it was the voting of the card functions that mattered.

I think you may have to postpone the competition if you are going to create a submissions thread.

Although you may use copyrighted art if you want, I feel it would be better if you used usable art, out of respect for the card design rules on the forum. This competition isn't an official one, so I am not sure if I am allowed to break the same art rules that the COs can in some cases.

Interesting card, but your submission has to generate 2 elements, according to this round's rules. (Yours currently generates ) Sorry.

Real life has demanded more from me at this current time, and the number of submissions may flood the CI&A section with the goal being to fill the chart, so there have been some rule changes in order for me to deal with both of these issues as best as I can, using Card Design War and actual War as partial bases.

Submission Phase changed to 3-4 days, and Blitz Vote lasts 2-3 days for each "set" of votes until 1 card wins the Blitz Vote.Competition runs for 4 full rounds. Round 5 will have the top 4 be voted on.

This is intended to try to streamline the competition to keep the submissions to a manageable amount, as well as shortening it's duration to prevent it from going on too long.

I am sorry if I have caused any serious problems with this change.
