TEXT:
Whenever your opponent negatively affects one of your creatures, put 2 copies of it into play. Lasts 3 turns.
NAME:
Gaea's Sheath
ELEMENT:
Life
COST:
6 :life
TYPE:
Permanent
ATK|HP:

TEXT:
When a creature is negatively affected, its owner puts two copies of it into play.
Lasts 3 turns.

ART:

IDEA:
Frozengaia
NOTES:
The unupped only puts copies into play if the opponent negatively affects your creatures, and only on your side.

The upped allows both players to get copies, regardless of who targeted what.
Life is the parity element, so adding parity to the card seems fitting.

Pands <3
Consider this card a strange, evil cloak with other uses.

  • Define Negatively Affected. Do you mean like how I described it in my shrine card?
  • Seems as though this is how the card works: Every time a friendly creature is damaged or something similar, two copies of it are placed into your hand. If this is correct, this is OP.

especially because you're gonna target it when this is in play.  :P

Negatively affected means if it's delayed, froze, antimattered, touched, lobotomized, etc.
It's simple stuff, really.
Things that could be contextually negative, IE SoW reflect or BE, don't count.
RT and mutate doesn't count.
Poison does.

And I'd argue it's not OP, because only the upped allows you to hurt your own creatures to get more, and your opponent can do the same to thier creatures. Their bigger, faster, stronger creatures.

Unupped, it's closer to cloak than anything else.

If you could find a creature with enough HP to survive such a pounding, then yes, it would be a cheaper fractal.

Unnuped is UP, just an expensive, half-functioning cloak, unless the opponent has fire shield. The upgraded is very interesting, though. You should make the unnuped a weaker version of the upped, or else just make them the same with the upped less costly.
