NOTES:
X is always rounded down.
The lines in the card's image represent the "bonds". Perhaps it isn't clear enough.
Got this idea because I wanted something that used all creatures for life, not just one or one side. The halved X and the anti-PU/Fractal is because it could get OP.

The way you phrased it seems a bit weird. You should probity just copy the layout for the variable that scarab uses.

Insert Skill Name: var = number of creatures you control at the (beginning/end) of your turn.

---

As for being targeted, denying certain cards is a bit odd. Either, the card should be targetable by all or none. Either way, I can't imagine that Fractal/PU would be a problem due to the cost. -- if anything, Mitosis would be the problem.

So, basically what you're asking for is that I modify the card to get something like "Bond: x = Number of creatures in the field" and that's it?

That would certainly help. As it stands, it is unclear weather it updates at the beginning of the turn, the end of the turn, or just all the time.

it can be a nice addition to  :life, but i think is too much match up based and situational

that x/2 is probably too much, 4 creatures are needed for a 2/5 (if enter as a 0/1 in the field with no creatures), i can undestard that it can be easily 10/20, but how much time this will happen?

even with mitosis it can be a slow strategy, and i don't see the sense to deny 2 cards (even if it can be ""op"") and allow mitosis

First off, it's whether, not weather.
Second, it updates at the beginning of Life/Anima Crystal's turn.

If it can't be targeted by PU or Fractal, I'd just make it a permanent.

Similar cards in life have been frowned upon in the past, but I'm personally fine with them.

You could just say "cannot be replicated", which covers fractal, PU and mitosis. As well as things like nightmare. It would pretty much be a passive ability.

From your commentary am I correctly understanding that both your creatures and your opponent's count towards X? Does it count itself in that number? I'm assuming it does.
That gives a max possible stat set of 23/46, but realistically you'd never see one that big, it would probably usually run around 5/10-ish. Still pretty strong.
Could potentially be OP in RoL/Rustler/Mitosis swarm decks, even if you can't Mitosis the crystal.

I agree with the previous comments that it feels weird to single out Fractal and PU but not Mitosis.
