NOTES:
This card was an experimental idea of creating something clockwork-related. I ended up creating an entire element =D

Scout/Scavenger is basically an anti-shield card. It can also be used against AOE spells, but it's main purpose is to mess up people who use CC-shields, for example Thorn Carapace or Fire Buckler. Upon death this little guy produces extra damage that is equal to his ATK. Damage produced this way is similar to Voodoo Doll

It's equal to the amount of attack Scout\scavenger has when it would die, yes.
Fractal the upped one and then use dry spell. Let's see how that works out for us.

I thought about it for a while, but came to the conclusion that'd be better if the ability would be passive.

... as a note here, it is very unlikely that we will ever see new elements added... If I remember correctly, the game's designer (at some point) has explicitly said its never going to happen, though I don't remember the exact thread, I've seen that point come up repeatedly.

This might fit well under the :time element if it ever gets to the game.

I do like the concept of the card a lot though.

Well, i thought of it. I have an idea of making Clockwork elementals able to make opponents' creatures weaker and cards cost more than they originaly were, while elementals themself would build an entire steampunk empire that will just overwhelm opponent.

Clockwork's opposite element would be Flesh. I didn't actually think Flesh through, though.

It's completely okay. I never actually expected Clockwork or Flesh to be added. I just wanted to have some fun making my own element(s), even if it wouldn't be added into the game.

Well, in the world of Elements the Game, your theme of Clockwork can be split to :time and :gravity, while Flesh can be split to :life and :death.
My idealized elements cycle:
Water -> Fire -> Air -> Earth -> Lightning -> Metal -> Light -> Darkness -> Wood -> Water
