This affects both side of the field. For instance, if you want to bless a creature, you target a creature for the effect, but it instead targets at random, friend or enemy. Same for hostile effects, you have as much chance for a lightning to hit your opponent as yourself. The retargeting can also be aimed at the players health, if the ability is in fact able to do so. Effects like pulverize target a permanent at random. Because the target is changed, immaterial creatures are still untargetable. SERIES:

I like it. Really kills  , though. That's good, mono- is very powerful, even FG killing.

As I see it, it can completely shut down decks based on buffing (such as buffed chargers) and likely a lot of other decks.  This would really buff Rain of Fire and other non-targeted effects.  Seems extremely powerful as long as you make sure to keep targeting things out of your deck.

If you have more creatures than your opponent, it's unwise for them to buff their creatures.  Maybe you could make it a 75% or something chance of the target being randomized so it isn't such a heavy lockdown alongside creature spam?

How does it shut down mono-aether?  Immaterial should give them an advantage against this in general.

I think it's fairly good as is, but for the worrisome, perhaps a 50% chance to target at random?

How does this respond to RoF? If you target a creature, does that creature still have a chance of being the target?

There's an equal chance of any creature being targeted, including the original target.
