like the sound of that.
Am actually just googling for some interesting names with less obvious meanings, but still connected to element/spell.
Also been thinking, unless the upgraded version is actually different, if we use more interesting/elaborate names then maybe have un- and upgraded version with same name? Anyway:
Potential names I've found Ailuropoda From wiki on subject panda: Great Panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca, literally meaning "black and white cat-foot")
I know one suggestion has been made, found this before reading the one from EmeraldTiger, so thought I'd post it anyway
Yersinia again wiki, plague: The deadly infectious disease is caused by the enterobacteria Yersinia pestis
not found a name yet I'm 100% happy with, only potential so far is Gamma wiki: Intense but one-time gamma ray bursts (GRBs) may signal the birth of "new" black holes.
nothing yet
Eukarya it's a older grouping of species, all things that live, but with proper membranes etc, not just bacteria (or something like that, can't quite remember, sorry) Vitae or gaia type thing felt too obvious
Pyripnon literally, Fire-breather. ancient Greek I think
Deionizo (/Deionizon etc, not sure of ending yet) Deionization is more or less main method for purifying water, something like Purgo was perhaps too obvious?
nothing yet
not sure of it, but so far: Aerothen ancient Greek again, along the lines of out of the air, from on high
nothing yet
Melanchlaeni wiki: meaning "black-cloaks" may refer to two ancient tribes
Eksiopao silentio too obvious choice? This means 'put to silence' in ancient Greek
Pluvia I know this creature is very much still maybe, still, this nice name is the latin translation for rainbow
These are obviously just ideas and not fixed in any way, please let me know what you think so i know whether it's even worth spending time trying to find names for missing creatures. Many thanks
