So, for 1 more :fire than Fire Shield, it essentially deals damage to your OWN creatures, but at the same time counters opponents' cards with momentum.

But doing damage to your own creatures could be a good thing. Have you never been in a situation in which you want to remove your own creatures?

What if I made it a shield and said it blocked all damage? That was what I was originally going to do...

Well It would block all damage, and deal 1 damage to all creatures, possibly only your own. I don't know. Didn't think about it too long.
