I think to actually make this work in-game, the mechanic would have to be changed to an ability that would be activel chosen. That is, change the wording to something like "0: cast a dragon from your hand for no cost. It is delayed for 5 turns. This can be done more than once/turn."

Otherwise, i think this is pretty awesome.

well, a deck could be built to terribly exploit this.

bunch of Basalts, maybe Celestial. Throw this with an EA and spam away, if you go time, you can spam devs, if you go life, you can spam Jades and Adrenaline them for reduced delay...

certainly complex, but very, very powerful

Interesting card. I see this being used with either Phase or Basalt dragons the most, as it's either the most sturdy or making the most of the most expensive dragon choices you have. And yeah, slap a PA on, and you're good to go. Too bad mitosis doesn't count... >: )

the 5 turn delay makes it not actually that useful, unless your goal is to gravity pull a massive dragon. in that case its incredibly useful.

Really? Fractal ruby dragons + chimera + sky blitz = very cheap FG OTK (5 cards + 4 + 9 + 8 + 8 for 240 damage). If you are familiar with OTKs, you will know this is VERY cheap. Instosis itself costs 8 cards + 12  + 4  + 12 (which can sometimes make you lose the next quanta needed in the combo) + 8 + 6 for 216 damage.

I agree with Annele here, but there's a very simple fix: classify chimera under that delay.

No, it simply never had the status effects in the first place. Chimera is treated as a normal creature card, with a "remove all of your creatures" effect triggered on casting, and with atk/hp stats determined by the creatures removed this way. Thus, it can be given status effects just like any other creature.
