Nature's call perhaps?
Now that is quite a compelling call... actually, now that you mention it...
(flushing and sink noises from other room)
:T TMI abusing the listener, 20 yard penalty... lol.
Nice card though. I'm a little iffy on the upped version being colorless (maybe make it a 2
and 1
cost), but otherwise, very good job.
Slightly cheaper than other PC cost wise, but loss of card advantage due to sacrifice. Quite well balanced in my opinion.
There are 2 issues I see. The first is just a balancing point, the second is more tricky.
1) There are some upped creatures that cost less than their unupped counter parts, despite being equally or more powerful (graviton merc and fire-eater for example)... Maybe a upped cards could get a +1 to effective value?
2) A spell card can only have one chosen target. After the first target is picked, any other targeting has to be "hard wired" into the spell somehow. E.g. You can have the player choose either the creature to sacrifice or the permanent to destroy, but not both... this is tricky (but not impossible) to get around.
One option you might take would be to have this spell swap a creature's skill with the sacrifice based PC effect.
Maybe something like:
"Target ally's skill is now
0 Charge: Sacrifice to destroy a permanent of equal or lower cost (readies instantly)"
