Card editions

Not an idea for a new card, but rather a new design element to incorporate into the cards.

With the raft of new cards currently under development, it would be nice to bundle them into an edition by adding a little icon for all the cards in the new cycle. Who knows how long this game will continue to develop and grow, it might be nice to have a feel for the lineage.

Differentiate it? That would make it more like M:tG

in deed... its a tcg-feature... imho we dont need this as long as elements is only an online-cardgame and it will have no extra-effects if a new card is added to the game... if for a victory you need to know, which edition a card is, than you have to put an icon on it! (is there a thing like edition in elements? is such a thing in plan?)
if you place an editon icon, than you also can place the founder of the card, its year and so on... keep it simple and let the trash outside, plz  8)

Problem with this idea is that Elements gets (or at least has been getting) 2 new cards at a time.

In regular CCG's they release a pile of cards at the same time so it makes more sense that they use this system.
