a tough water unit, hard to kill. As a crab, it has Armour... yes?
Well, any damage directed means ANY damage. So if Lightning is used on unupped carcinos, the damage from lightning is reduced by 3 so lightning would do only 2 damage to the unupped Carcinos, when upped lightning can only do 1 damage to it, making it hard to take out with creature control.

Do you think the additional resilience the skill gives is only worth +1 :water?
CC that can defeat it:
 :aether 2-3 Lightning
 :air 3 Shockwaves (unuppded only)
 :darkness 1 Drain Life [21 :darkness-31 :darkness]
 :darkness/ :death/ :life/ :water 4-5 Infection
 :death Plague
 :earth Basilisk Blood [Delay 6]
:entropy Chaos Seed (Chance of no effect)
 :entropy Mutation
 :entropy Paradox
 :fire 1 Fire Bolt [11 :fire-12 :fire]
 :fire 2|2 Rage potions|Rage Elixirs
 :gravity Gravity Pull
 :gravity Otyugh
 :time Reverse Time
 :water Freeze
 :water 1 Ice Bolt [21 :water-31 :water]Now Immune to:
 :air Snipe
 :air Shockwave(upped only)
 :air Thunderstorm
 :air Unstable Gas
:entropy Chaos Seed [Chance of no effect]
:fire Rain of FireNow Resistant to:
 :air Shockwaves (unuppded only)
 :darkness 1 Drain Life
 :darkness/ :death/ :life/ :water Infection
 :death Plague
:entropy Chaos Seed (Chance of no effect)
 :fire 1 Fire Bolt
 :fire 2|2 Rage potions|Rage Elixirs
 :gravity Gravity Pull
:water 1 Ice Bolt [21 :water-31 :water]I think it is obvious that the Skill: Armour is worth more than +1 :water. In think it should be increased to +2 :water (Or 7 :water|8 :water total)
Armour is not as good defensively as Immortality but it still allows buffs through so it is better offensively.

Now I understand that crabs have shells and live in the water but is not the Armour skill more Earth like?
Also that would have to be one big crab to almost eclipse the dragons. We all know that larger shells are easier to bypass through the hinges. Why not tone the stats down. (Every -1Atk=-1Cost)

There is also the "tiny" problem that
Elements that cannot control it
 :air
Elements that have a much harder time controlling it
:aether :darkness :death :fire :gravity :life :water
Elements that have a harder time controlling it
 :entropy
Elements that are unaffected
 :earth :light :time

I have the sudden urge to make a water/earth/gravity deck, day down this bad boy, basilisk blood, and gravity pull.

I like the idea, but it does seem maybe a little cheap.

That would make an impossibly hard counter against life rush :P

CURATOR COMMENT
-Please provide the table posted by Drobbit in order for your idea to meet the formatting requirements of the Crucible

I don't want to repeat anything already said, but Oldtrees pretty much nailed it on the head. The reduction of 3-4 damage for a creature to effects can make it near impervious to tons of spell effects, and combined with cards like Rage Potion or Chaos Power... :o

Raising the cost of both cards (or reducing the effectiveness of Armour) may sway some votes towards it during the polls - otherwise, try to do the above instructions and modify your post accordingly so that it gets approved, okay? :)
