In any case, the it's ridiculously overpowered. This+Nova on turn one would lead to way, way too much quanta that's too easy to get. And that's just one. With 2, you become so much faster at getting quanta than any other method, playing a deck with Pillars/Towers is pointless. (Unless it used Fractal, or some other card that requires a lot of quanta to be used correctly. And, of course, to stop Black Holes. This is a lot more powerful than they are though.)

good lord this is so op it's not funny...

as is I can drop my whole hand frist turn with a fairly good draw and have 3 to 4 creatures out with that I'd need less cards and get more out.

1 Lycanthrope.... Followed up on turn 2 with 1 Graboid+Fireeater(Ablaze +2|+0),
Forest Spirit(Growth +2|+2)+Lycanthrope(Lycanthropy +5|+5) and thats pillarless with unupgraded cards making it 1st turn damage 5+0+1+1=7  2nd turn damage 5+2+3+6+2=18 damage and 3rd turn 7+4+5+6+8=30    with 9 cards add in the pirate treasure and i could do a lot more so it's way op no i take that back not overpowered "MEGA overpowered"

And is the upgraded version a permanent? Because if it is, that would be like a Nova on a stick.
And the non-upped version is way too strong. Its like 2 Supernovas and a precog(or hourglass) combined.

First, remove the draw effect from the un-upped, and reduce the quanta gain to maybe 6 random quantum, and make it a permanent. And just make it so that it can't be upped.

no no not nova on a stick it's 4 novas at once on a stick!!!!! and op doesn't begin to cover just how bad that is!!! 
Never mind he changed it but they both show as permanents and either way it's still so OP there isn't a good enough word for it!
